Built for the Night

We started the shoot with a low-light setup to highlight Somair and his Ducati without overpowering the frame. Shooting in a dark garage rooftop gave the bike a natural spotlight, but lighting was a major challenge no controlled lights, just available city glow. We leaned into the darkness, using selective highlights from the bike’s bodywork and gear to create a moody, cinematic feel.

Urban Pulse

For this frame, we chose a spot with distant city lights, creating a natural bokeh background. The tricky part was isolating Somair against the skyline while keeping the Ducati’s aggressive lines sharp. A shallow depth of field and careful manual focus allowed us to balance the subject without letting the background blur too much keeping the vibe cinematic and raw.

Straight Into the Darkness

This shot was about confrontation shooting head-on to capture the bike’s piercing LED eyes. The reflections on the visor and fairing added drama, but managing the low light without washing out the highlights took careful tweaking. We let the darkness dominate the frame, enhancing the aggressive design with minimal ambient spill.

Beneath the Helmet

In a quick switch, we pulled in close for a rare personal shot Somair’s eyes just visible under the helmet visor. With so little light to work with, this shot was tricky: balancing ISO noise while keeping the sharpness intact. A subtle highlight caught on the helmet gave just enough contour to frame his face without revealing too much keeping the mystery alive.

Concrete Jungle Ride

We pulled back for a wide environmental shot to give scale and breathing room. The rooftop garage gave an open, gritty texture to contrast against the polished Ducati. Balancing the darks and lights while preserving the mood was key we embraced the ambient parking lot lights for a natural, cinematic tone without flattening the bike’s punchy color.

Precision in the Details

For this composition, the focus was purely on details the lines of the helmet, the Ducati logo, the folds of the gear. This required shallow depth of field and careful angling to avoid distracting reflections. The challenge was keeping the texture alive without losing sharpness in the shadows, resulting in a crisp yet moody visual.

City Lights, Rider’s Silence

We wrapped with a silhouette, framing Somair against the muted city lights. The blurred background made the helmet and outline pop without needing extra light. It was the perfect calm moment to close out the night just man, machine, and the glow of the city.

On the rooftop, raw concrete met Italian precision — the night’s grit framing the Ducati’s brilliance in a cinematic balance of shadow and light.
